Plumas de Borikén (Feathers of Borikén) is a picture book project aimed towards children. A celebration of my home country, Puerto Rico, the book would showcase 26 different birds, both endemic and resident, found on the island. Each illustration is accompanied by a rhymed poem about the respective bird. To also commemorate Puerto Rican language, the book would be bilingual, with the text being both in Spanish and English.
